Activelift: The Story

Back in the 1970’s facelifts were performed in the hospital, under general anesthesia and with 2-3 days as an inpatient.  In the 80’s and 90’s the procedure moved to outpatient surgical centers and were performed under intravenous sedation.  The Activelift® is a local anesthesia facelift procedure that continues this trend by moving the procedure to an office setting.  This results in additional safety and a reduction in cost while providing a long lasting solution to the effects of gravity and aging.

My personal evolution occurred as a result of patients requesting facelift like results without having to go through anesthesia and the expense of an operating room.  Over the past five years I have performed hundreds of these procedures on a variety of facial types.  Some of our results can be seen in the photo section of the website.  You will note that I am able to perform the Activelift®, eyelid surgery, fractional CO2 laser treatment as well as endoscopic browplasty all in the office setting.  In other words, I am able to provide the entire spectrum of facial plastic rejuvenating procedures under local anesthesia in the office!  This certainly is nice step in the direction of safety and savings.

Additional discussion is available in the facelift section of this site as well as our seminars.  You are certainly invited and welcome.  Please call for dates and reservations.
